How many losing trades in a row would fail my challenge?
Divide the drawdown you have left by the dollar risk per trade and round down. With $2,000 of drawdown and $250 risked per trade, 8 consecutive full losses reach the limit; the next one fails it.
What is a trailing drawdown?
The loss limit follows your highest balance (end of day or intraday, depending on the firm) instead of staying at the starting balance. Many firms stop trailing once the floor reaches the starting balance.
What is a consistency rule?
A cap on how much of your total profit may come from your single best day (for example 30-50%). If one day is too large a share, you trade more days before a payout.
How many days will it take to pass?
Profit target ÷ your realistic average daily profit, never fewer than the firm's minimum trading days. A $3,000 target at $300 a day is at least 10 trading days.
Does the toolkit work with my firm?
You type your firm's numbers (target, drawdown type and size, daily limit); it is not tied to any firm and not affiliated with one.
Track it daily with the Prop Firm Drawdown & Payout Tracker or plan it with the Funded Trader Toolkit's challenge planner. Related: trailing drawdown explained.
